Title of Talk: Scientific Method and Scientific Discourse

December 2023
Thursday 14th - 12:00pm

Dr. Georgescu will overview the evolution of the scientific method through Jim Gray’s four paradigms and discuss how the scientific discourse has not changed much. She will argue that a fifth paradigm is imminent, that scientists are telling increasingly complex narratives to different audiences and hence it’s important to think about new forms of the scientific discourse.
